Time is precious. To be honestly realistic, that time ought to be spent with your kid, and should not be lost on other things. Your youngster is craving for care and it is your obligation to give your kid that attention he or she requires. Nonetheless, children do sleep. The sleep that they acquire is very precious to you and here is why.
First and foremost, you want to have time to yourself. The only time you get to yourself, unfortunately, is when the baby is in slumber. Fortunately, most newborn infant sleep around 18 hours during the day, and you should get at least a little of that time. But, when they are about one month old, they are always seeking for your care and attention. A baby swing is the perfect item to assist baby for their sleep. Almost all of them play some melody and get baby sleeping a good deal faster than you are able to. Not entirely that, but they generally maintain their sleep for a lengthier time than they would sleep usually. The moment the baby is sleeping, you have complete time of your own, doing anything you wish.
Secondly, if you are same as me, you require at least 7 hours of sleep. You will not get that consecutively. Sorry. But, when we had our baby, the only way we could get him to sleep for longer than 3 hours consecutively was to have him in the baby cradle swing. It worked like a charm. The songs would play for about 10 minutes and then shut off while still swinging him. This was a life saver as I had get my sleep and go to work, and my wife was miserable with a c-section.
When all is said and done, you must at least consider getting a baby swing or a cradle swing. Some come in bundles with bouncers, etc. An excellent choice is fisher price cradle swings. The purchase will probably be amount of the things you are most proud of that you will want to share with your friends. This way, not only baby will be happy, but mom and dad will be thrilled!
Cradle swing, a must or not? I’m a new mother to a beautiful baby girl. It’s exciting that I’m qualified enough to fall into the mummy-shopper category. There are just so many toys and gadgets out there and I can easily spend a day at the baby department alone. If I could – financially, I would buy e-v-e-r-i-t-h-i-n-g and then decide later. But back to reality, I have a tight budget and not to mention space constraints at home. So when it comes to toys or baby products, necessity is key!
I swear by the Fisher Price Cradle Swing (Rainforest). To all parents, it is worth investing! Don’t be quick to label me as a lazy mummy who leaves her baby in a cradle swing. I do love my baby whole heartedly. I would provide her the best things that are within my limits, of course. There are just times where I’m so exhausted from my work in the day plus the housework in the evening. The worst times are when my baby is sick and constantly crying to be carried all night. Thank Fisher Price for the cradle swing to my rescue! The cradle swing has several soothing sounds that ‘rock’ babies gently. The swing speed is adjustable (6 settings).
On separate note, I wonder why the childcare centres don’t have them. Cradle swings would make their job so much easier. FYI, I send my baby to childcare centre when I’m at work.
